In June of 2002, Royce Carlson, Juanita Hull-Carlson and Creagan McConnell bought nearly 22 acres of vacant land about 20 miles north of Prescott, Arizona. The purpose of this purchase is to create the Spiral Art Garden.

The Spiral Art Garden will include our residences, art studios, experimental structures, and sculptures for all to enjoy. This will be a long-term project. We plan to keep building and adding until we can't do it any more. I am guessing that it will occupy us for the next 20 years at least. When we are done, The Spiral Art Garden will remain as our gift of strangeness to the world.

This web site will chronicle our adventure. Click the following links to find out what we are doing and to check on our progress. It will be updated whenever something significant happens.

Jan. 2005 - Due to financial reasons we are putting off the construction of our planned art studio and the spiral house for a few years. We need to accumulate enough money to make significant progress before we begin any major structures. In the meantime, however, we plan to regularly work at the site creating pathways and artworks.
