The latest project at Eliphante is called Pipe Dreams. It is an underground art installation/gallery for Mike and Leda's artwork and is a wild labyrinth of tunnels and dead-ends, each with a large abstract painting at one end and a chair or stool at the other so you can sit and contemplate.

It, and the other buildings, were constructed using a steel armature of re-bar and pipe covered with old carpets and then coated with concrete. The mosaics of rocks, old ceramic pieces, glass, wood, and other found objects are attached to the concrete.

Some of the walls inside Pipe Dreams are covered with a spectacular mosaic. Even the floor is painted and pieced together in beautiful patterns.

In the summer they mostly spend their time outside in an outdoor kitchen and living area but their winter residence is another free-form structure called the Hippodome. It is airy and spacious and full of light.
